This NBS includes green pavements in a special structure with filter properties and isappropriated for pedestrians and cyclists. This NBS allows manage the water runoff andit could be used for cyclist and pedestrian in the cycle-pedestrian areas. This kind ofpavements will serve to reduce cycle speed in specific urban sections with manypedestrians. Thereby, it will avoid the small flood accumulation surfaces and this waterwill can be used to irrigate other NBS (resting areas an pollinator´s modules) in order tointegrate several green infrastructures and several users of them.

Previous pavements must be designed to account for the native subsoil infiltration rate.The depth of the pervious layer, void space, and the infiltration rate of the underlyingsoils result in the desired storage volume and intended drain time of the facility.
Selection of pavements, such as permeable pavers, permeable concrete, permeableasphalt or other materials, should be based on engineering constraints and thesurrounding street context.Utilize an underdrain system to treat overflow, or if partial infiltration is preferred, toconvey remaining runoff to the municipal sewer system.
