Green resting areas are green spaces projected for social passive recreation(resting, relaxation, observing nature, social contact). The development of greenresting areas plays a central role in policies related to health, nature conservationand spatial planning.

Green resting areas are built with:

• Native soil.
• Compacted soil mixture of 20-30% sand, 20-30% compost and 30-40%topsoil.
• Draining gravel layer. This layer all allows excess water to be infiltrated.
• Vegetation - Tree. The selection of species depends on the climate, the depth and the composition of the substrate, if we put an irrigation system.
• Vegetation – Shrubs. The selection of species depends on the climate,the depth and the composition of the substrate, if we put an irrigation system.
• Lighting equipment to ensure comfort and safety of the green resting area.
• Bench attached to a concrete foundation.
• Pavement area built above a tout-venant 20 cm layer.
