The video has been produced by Mersey Forest, in collaboration with the Liverpool City Council and the University of Liverpool. Together, they are working in URBAN GreenUP on about 50 green interventions, including green walls, trees and floating islands.
The green wall in St. John’s, with its 65m length, represents the UK’s longest green wall and it contains around 20 different plant species. The installation will make the city center greener, be an important habitat for wildlife and improve air quality.
The video collects also the opinions from the citizens concerning the implementation of nature-based solutions, such as the St. John’s green wall.
