URBAN GreenUP has contributed to a new handbook providing an impact assessment framework for nature-based solutions
The handbook sets out a methodology to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the impact of NBS, through a set of indicators, covering areas such as climate resilience, health and well being and new economic opportunities and green jobs.
It is the result of a collaborative effort by several EU H2020 funded projects working on the implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), including URBAN GreenUP.
The handbook is intended for key players involved in NBS uptake, such as policy makers, urban planners, the scientific community, industry, non-governmental organisations and civil society.
