It provides internationally recognised, high-quality, education and professional training for students, clients and the community and assists in the development of human resources capacity and capability in Vietnam and the region. RMIT Vietnam conducts research in a wide range of areas, from robotics to sustainability in a transnational setting. Its on-campus research environment is developing rapidly providing staff with opportunities to participate in cross-discipline projects and multi-national activities.
RMIT Vietnam’s research group has a close research collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Conservation Science Research Group (ICSRG) based within the Centre for Urban Research (CUR) formed in 2012 to collaborate as part of a national hub for applied and policy-relevant urban research. The Centre provides a leadership role for RMIT University in the study of critical urban issues.
